In August 2011 we joined the Global Teen Challenge (GTC) team as further development of their Media Department. There are 1000+ Teen Challenge (TC) Centers in 91 countries of the world that depend on GTC to provide:
A connection to the network of TC Centers.
Up-to-date staff training.
A venue for an exchange of ideas concerning sustainability projects.
Spiritual encouragement for TC Directors in remote locations.
Our 1000+ TC Centers around the world are in various stages of development. Every director of a local center needs to have access to a venue where he can glean support for his own situation. iteenchallenge is the place where directors can find resources for their center. With the development of the Media Department, many of these resources will be available in video format.
Every TC Center has sustainability issues. How can a TC Director keep his center running financially while ministering to tormented souls with life controlling addictions? This is difficult for all from Kazakhstan to Swaziland, from Brazil to Philippines. We are now videoing interviews with directors who have found successful ways to “grow” their sustainability. In September 2011, Mark recorded such an interview with Kevin Ward and Andrew Le Roux, TC Directors in Swaziland. Take a look at their interview on agtv .
Spiritual encouragement is essential for TC staffs to maintain their own spiritual longevity. A few weeks ago we held our first “Live Stream” Prayer Summit.
Mark will be making several trips to Africa and Latin America – as funds permit. If you can make a one-time donation to our AGWM Contributions page.

GTC’s Director, Jerry Nance, felt it was essential to return to the beginning of Teen Challenge and follow the pattern of prayer that founder, David Wilkerson exemplified. We recognize this one thing – Prayer is the only thing that changes our lives! With this in mind, Dr. Nance initiated an annual Prayer Summit to be streamed live for all the TC Centers around the world and in the United States. This was a powerful event that began at 6 pm Thursday, Feb 9 and continued until noon on Saturday, Feb 11. The Media team streamed all the prayer, worship, and sermons for 40 continuous hours. Eleven countries participated. (Haiti, Scotland, Canada, Luknow, India, Swaziland, Victoria, Australia, Nairobi, Kenya, Dominican Republic, Ireland, South Africa, Mexico) The Summit was the beginning of 19 days of prayer and fasting that is changing every participant – students, emerging leaders, TC staff and directors.
